Dilijan to host 3rd Armenian Minds Summit in October

YREVAN, SEPTEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian resort town of Dilijan will host the 3rd Armenian Minds Summit on October 23-24, bringing together leading international politicians, scientists, analysts and entrepreneurs.

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has already formally invited participants to the event, the presidency said.

The MB Summit of Minds, which is traditionally held in Chamonix, France, was held for the first time in its history outside of Chamonix in June 2019 when it was hosted by Armenia. From then on, the forum organized in Dilijan was named Summit of Armenian Spirits and has already taken place twice. The agreement to host the event in Armenia was made in 2018 when President Sarkissian was the keynote speaker at the 2018 Spirit Summit in Chamonix.

In 2019, Chamonix expressed the desire to strengthen its relations with Dilidjan. Chamonix is a classic example of how a small town can have huge success. Smaller than Dilijan, with a population of less than 10,000, Chamonix welcomes 5,000,000 tourists each year, ranging from ski enthusiasts to cultural and conference visitors.

Chamonix and Dilijan have wonderful nature, fresh air and an ecologically clean environment.

In case of elaboration of a clear vision, strategy and development program, Dilijan also has all the possibilities to become a tourist center, a cultural, intellectual and tourist city. The friendship between Chamonix and Dilijan will not only bring ideas and visions to Armenia, but also experience, business ties and international partnership.

The Third Armenian Summit of Spirits is an exclusive opportunity to showcase Armenia’s potential, develop new directions of cooperation and establish trade relations, the presidency said.
