Chamonix, France (December 6, 2021) black crows, the iconic French ski brand focused on design-focused high performance ski products and clothing, is delighted to announce freeskier Sam Favret as the new brand ambassador and team member.

“I am extremely proud to announce my new collaboration with the Black Crows, and have long felt that one day I would be part of the squadron, joining longtime friends and mountain partners,” says Favret. . “Black crows is a brand that I have seen tremendous growth over the past 15 years and for which I have always had a lot of respect. Today, as an athlete and future mountain guide, this collaboration takes on its full meaning both in the shared passion for skiing and in the desire to evolve while remaining faithful to our Chamonix roots. I look forward to the many great projects that will emerge from this partnership and the stories and experiences that will be created together.

Favret is an authentic native of Chamonix who was attracted to freestyle and mountain skiing from its inception. He started his career at the Chamonix ski club but quickly swapped styles for a long foray into the freesking circuit, with a World Cup to his name. Favret combines freeride skiing and freestyle skiing and has many accolades including winning the Redbull Linecatcher in 2013 and the Swatch Skiers Cup in 2015.

An actor and producer from a young age, Favret shot and starred in a plethora of ski movies. Whether flying drones (Natural Mystic in 2019 or Flow in 2021), in ice (Ice Call in 2014) or on the steep slopes of Chamonix, Alaska or Pakistan (Waking Dream, Hunza, Backyards Project ), Favret has traveled the world and skied some of the gnarliest peaks around.

Favret is at home with the Black Raven Squadron and his lifelong companions in Chamonix. He can’t wait to work with a brand that vibrates with the same rock his body is made of, which gave him his nickname and which Flo Bastien, black crows sports marketing manager says: “If you throw it hard enough, it can do. wrong. ground”.
