Each year in December, they head to Aspen, Colorado, where her kids snowboard and ski, and she can admire the snow. âWe don’t go on a one-horse open sleigh; we take a two-horse open sleigh ride through the woods at night, looking at the stars. It’s amazing,â said Mariah.
And yes, they are regularly joined by special visitors. “Santa Claus comes every year. We hang out, he brings gifts, his reindeer and his sleigh are there,” she said, insisting, “the real reindeer, the real reindeer”. On Christmas Eve, Mariah gets ready for the big day by making one of her father’s signature dishes – linguine with a white clam sauce – and the next morning she, the Moroccan, Monroe and a few members of her. “entourage” come together to open gifts. âThey are the people closest to me, whom I love with all my heart,â she said.
