ANN ARBOR – The Wolverines returned to Ann Arbor on Saturday after a busy 10-day summer tour.
Each year, the Michigan football program takes a trip to enjoy some group downtime. Destinations in past years have included France, Italy and South Africa. But this year, the team stayed in Michigan, exploring all the state has to offer.
From running in the Sleeping Bear Dunes, to jet-skiing and swimming in Lake Michigan, to biking and horse-drawn carriages on Mackinac Island, video clips and photographs of their journey could be confused with a Pure Michigan advertisement.
The team also volunteered during their travels, helping restore areas of Idlewild, once considered the nation’s largest black resort town, and painting fences and sidewalks with local children in Flint.

We are extremely grateful to Matt Lester, who generously donated his time, resources and money to help make this trip so enjoyable.
